Chapelco Mountain: Snow and weather information

Chapelco Mountain is nearby to San Martin de Los Andes city, and has a template cold weather with a dry season. There are big temperature oscillations during the day and the night.

In the mountain there's always a coldest weather for being in height and the temperatures oscillates from 10 degrees to -10 degrees by night. There also is cold wind, increasing the thermic sensation of cold.

This ski center has powder snow and wet powder snow. The first is the ideal to practice any sports as ski and snowboard, allowing a perfect sliding through the mountain, without sinking.
