La Hoya

This ski center is located at 13 kilometers to Esquel city and 1350 meters over the level of the sea. Because of its geography as a pot and in the south hillside of the mountain, La Hoya counts with excellent snow conditions from the beginning of June until October.

La Hoya is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape with forests, waterfalls and lakes and it's located just beside Los Alerces National Park, with many attractions to visit.

This ski center counts with high summits over the 2000 meters and 66 skiable hectares, where there are 24 ski runs for every level. Another main characteristic of this center is its powder snow, which don't receive the light of the sun, making of La Hoya the ideal place to practice different types of ski and snowboard in deep off pistes.

For this excellent snow quality, this ski center is the meeting point of many competition teams like United States, Spain and United Kingdom, between other national teams.

The ski runs have good connection and are safe for families and children, because all the runs converge in the same place. There also is a Ski and Snowboard school, where every person can learn the techniques of these sports, without matter their level of knowledge.

This is a ski center very visited by the tourists who looks for rest and to enjoy of the best snow quality with all the attractions needed. There are high summits for extreme sports to smooth hillsides for the beginners or the children that want to play with the snow.

Between the services of this ski center there are restaurants, coffee and cake shops and a hotel in the Base of the mountain. Other lodging alternatives can be found in the city of Esquel, a complete center with all the amenities that the tourist may need,

La Hoya is located in the Chubut province, 13 kilometers away from Esquel city in the argentinean Patagonia.

To reach this ski center there are paviment routes from San Carlos de Bariloche, Neuquén and Buenos Aires to get there by car on in bus service.

Other alternative is take a flight from Buenos Aires to Esquel and from there, travel 13 kilometers to La Hoya ski center.
