Bayo Mountain is one of the most emblematic ski centers of La Angostura Village and Neuquén in the middle of the most beautiful surround with forests and the Nahuel Huapi Lake.

This ski center is located just 9 kilometers and 15 minutes away from Villa La Angostura, main tourism center on Neuquén province. Bayo Mountain has many hotels placed in the hillsides of the mountain, creating La Angostura Village.

In the winter, Bayo Mountain becomes one of the best alternatives for alpine ski. The mountain has 200 skiable hectares and deep snow sectors for experts' skiers.

This mountain is the perfect place for beginners and experts in ski, and counts with pistes for every level and off pistes where you can descend from the summit to virgin forests.

Also in Mountain Bayo visitors can enjoy with other activities as hiking, dog sledges and snow battles.

Among the attractions of this place there is a wonderful panoramic way of five kilometers with view to Nahuel Huapi Lake and the wild forests around. Another attractive of the mountain is that it counts with two kinds of snow, deep snow and powder snow for different ways to practice ski.

Mountain Bayo also counts with three restaurants to enjoy of the exquisite gastronomy of the zone and its typical products as wild boar, trouts and handicraft liquors. The restaurants are open all the year.

This ski center is the perfect place to connect with nature and enjoy an excellent snow season in the winter or to outdoor activities in the summer, allowing to have fun in the mountain in every moment of the year.

To get to Bayo Mountain there are many alternatives. One is take a collective from Buenos Aires to San Carlos de Bariloche, which is about 80 kilometres away from the ski center and 59 minutes away.

Another choice is take fligh from San Carlos de Bariloche airport to Neuquén. The visitors can also get to the ski center by car, taking the route to San Martín de los Andes and Junín de los Andes in Neuquén or from San Carlos de Bariloche, taking the national route to Bayo Mountain.
