Cathedral Mountain: Ski schools: Catedral Ski Resort Ski and Snowboard School

This school offers different services depending on the needs of each student. It has 150 specialized instructors with guaranty of Argentinean Association of Ski and Snowboard Instructors.

This school brings the best service to everyone who wants to learn these sports, to make the most of their stay in the mountain. Besides the traditional lessons, the school also has a Snow Club for children and a commercial store at Plaza Amancay complex.

The classes start at 09:30 and the students of the school have priority to use the lifts of the mountains. The school offers different types of lessons, depending on the skills and time of the people. The students are divided in homogenous groups, for an easy and dynamic learning of ski and snowboard.

They offer a Children Schools, where children from 3 to 13 years old can learn by playing to slide through the snow in an easy way. They are divided in groups by their technical level and ages, to increase the safety. Also, to distinguish them among the other skiers, children and their instructor uses color shirts and helmets, different from the other groups. Children must be wrapped up to not suffer cold when they are outside in the snow.

There are weekly lessons or short instruction that lasts just one day, depending on the time of the students.

The school also counts with ski lessons for disable people, to make them enjoy of this sport as well. The instructors are special trained to give security and independence to their students, no matter what type of ski they want to learn.

Types of Classes:

Adults:

- Full day: From 09:30 the student has a complete and personalized teaching by a specialized instructor, to guarantee the learning.

- Half Day: Until 13:00 if classes start in the morning or from 13:30 in the afternoon. This type of lesson is suitable for students with some knowledge in ski.

- Exclusive lessons of ski and snowboard: This classes last two or three hours daily.

- Group classes: In this type of lessons there are a group of students, divided by levels and their own skills.

- Mini-group classes: These are lessons with a small group of students, with no more than 3 persons.

- Special M6 classes: This lessons of 2 hours are for groups of 6 persons and the students can use the lifts faster than others skiers.

- One day class: In special M6 mode, with a group of 6 persons.

- White Week: Classes are everyday in the morning or the afternoon.

- Miniweek, Three day classes, starting on Sunday and can be taken in the morning or the afternoon.

Children classes:

- Weekly classes: 6 complete days, starting at 09:30 to 16:30. The lessons include afternoon snack and lunch. At the end of the lessons, the students receive awards and diplomas.

- Three Days: Classes in full three days, with 6 hours a day, starting on Sunday. Classes goes from 13:30 to 16:30 with afternoon snack include.

- Three half days: The lessons start at 13:30 to 16:30, starting on Sunday. These classes include afternoon snack.

- Full day: From 09:30 to 16:30, with 6 hours of classes and including the lunch and afternoon snack

- Half day: From 13:30 to 16:30, including the afternoon snack.
