Castor Mountain: Ski runs infraestructure

Castor Mountain counts with 24 ski runs and many of them are recognized by the International Federation of Ski. These runs are used for world competition teams to their training.

The runs are divided in 30% for beginners and intermediate skiers. The rest are divided in 25% for advanced skiers and just 15% for experts. All of them can enjoy the pleasant of ski at the level of the see and delighting with the longest snow season in South America.

The skiable surface of this ski center is 600 hectares and counts with a slope than more than 800 mts, from the 197 in the Base to more than 900 of elevation in the summit.

Besides of the ski runs, Castor Mountain counts with excellent exteriors for snowboard or snowblade, sliding through smooth hillsides, between amazing forests with lengas.

The ski runs are adjusted by five modern groomers, which level every road in the mountain, redistributing the snow from base to heights. Castor Mountain also counts with a system to make artificial snow, with ten canyons that can cover the full mountain.

In this mountain there is also a snowpark of 300 meters of longitude and 150 of wide, equipped with rails and many other obstacles for the experts to practice their tricks and maneuvers.

To get to ski runs, Castor Mountain has seven lifts, all of them with modern equipment and a capacity to elevate 6500 skiers by hour.
