Chapelco: Ski and Snowboard School

Chapelco Mountain counts with a Ski School with the best level of the world. Its instructors spend every snow season training in european centers and learning the new techniques of ski and snowboard.

The school brings classes of all the types of ski like monoski, alpine ski, and Nordic ski, parabolic ski, cross country ski, paragliding and adventure. There are also snowboard lessons in all the styles.

The lessons can be individual or collective and there are also classes for disabled persons or to mentally disabled persons.

The individual classes are with groups from one to four students, in the same technical level and with these lessons they can achieve a fast advance in their knowledge. This is the best choice for the beginners in these sports.

There are also collective lessons that start with a group from four students and the duration is of two hours, which can be taken by the morning, in the afternoon or chose a full day for training. These classes can be weekly until 13:00 hours and in a three day package, from 14:30 to 17:30 hours.

Chapelco Mountain has a Junior Academy with special classes for children form six years old to youngs of 15 years old. In the Academy are specialized instructors for teach them ski and snowboard. The snowboard lessons can be started for children of eight years old.

The lessons in the Academy start with a minimum of four students and lasts from 10:00 to 16:30 hours, including lunch. The lessons can be weekly or for three days.

There is also a Snow Garden, for kids from three to five years old, where they play with recreation activities and start to know the snow with specialized teachers. The Garden is open from 10:30 to 13:00 hours and from 14:30 to 17:00, without the lunch.

Chapelco Mountain also has a nursery for babies from three months to three years old and children that have troubles to adapt to snow. This is a warm and cozy place located in the Base of the mountain. There are specialized personal to take care of them. The nursery is open from 09:30 to 17:30 and doesn't include the lunch.
