This ski center is located at 26 kilometers Hawai from Ushuaia, located in a mountain with a maximum height of 976 meters. The mountain has hillsides covered with grass that keep the snow for a longer ski season.
This ski center has over than 500 hectares to ski and 24 kms of runs for all levels and styles, especially for beginners and intermediates. Just 15% of the grounds on the center are for experts in ski or snowboard. The mountain has modern lifts with capacity for about 5 skiers.
Castor Mountain counts with a Ski and Snowboard School for children and adults, which also has nursery service and organizes excursions with mountain guides to experts that ski off pistes.
The center offers too a rental ski service for all styles and a high technology workshop to fix the ski or snowboard equipments.
In lodgings, Castor Mountains has the Castor Ski Lodge, an elegant and rustic complex with 15 comfortable cabins with all the amenities to take the most relaxing and refreshing rest in the middle of the mountain.
In Ushuaia there are others alternatives of lodgings, from luxury hotels to comfortable hostels and lodges, with capacity of five thousand beds. Castor Mountain also counts with a high mountain lodge. .
Inside of Castor Mountain, the passengers can enjoy of four exquisite gastronomic centers with the best of local cooking and with the most beautiful view to the landscapes around.
The mountain also offers a transfer service to the passengers from hotel to airport. Other services are a first aid center with medical assistance and all the equipment needed in case of fractures or any kind of ill of the visitors.
