This ski center is the closest one to Buenos Aires and its located 500 kilometers away from Mendoza and 26 kilometers of distance to chilean frontier. Las Leñas is in the middle of Los Andes Mountain, its Base is more than 2000 mts from the level of the sea and the summit is over 3000 mts, allowing a long season from june to october and the most incredible snow quality.

This is the highest ski center in the mountain, with a drop of 1200 mts, making this ground the ideal place for extreme ski, heliski and other sport styles to skiers with goof condition. Sliding trough this mountain, the visitors can enjoy the amazing views of the mountain or have adventures as cross country ski in sealskin.

For its height and pronounced slopes, this ski center is the favorite place for world competition teams of different countries as Switzerland, Italy, Austria, United States, among others and it has been the seat of world ski competitions.

With modern equipment, Las Leñas ski center is one of the most complete ski centers in South America, with a privileged location in the middle of the mountain ski valley. Inside it has a slalom stadium and 27 runs for every level. There is also a high mountain lodge in Valle Hermoso and has services of lodgings and gastronomy.

Las Leñas has ski and snowboard schools for adults and children and a cross country ski school for experts, so everyone in this ski center will have the perfect entertainment, friendly and secure. There is also ski rental for equipments.

In this center there is more than fun in the snow. Las Leñas counts with many activities to enjoy the mountain as climbing, horse riding, trekking, and crossing in 4x4 vehicles, excursions, safaris, and scuba diving in the lakes, between others.

Las Leñas ski center is located in Malargue department, in Mendoza province, 500 kilometers away from Mendoza and 1200 kilometers from Buenos Aires. Visitors can reach the ski center through flights, car or by busses.

The flights depart from Buenos Aires to Malargue airport, and then a transfer service takes the passengers to Las Leñas ski center. In high season there are flights from Brasil to Malargue too.

By land, the access to Las Leñas is taking national or provincial routes from Mendoza, Buenos Aires, San Rafael and Malargue.

There are also busses services to transfer to Las Leñas from Buenos Aires in a trip of 11 hours.
