La Hoya Ski Resort: Ski School and Ski Rental

La Hoya ski center offers classes for children and adults that want to learn the winter sports. Its facilities are located in front of the beginners' ski runs, motivating them to increase their knowledge in this funny activity.

The Ski School gives individual and collective lesson with special attention in the kids learning. For them, there the Chiquipark, where they will learn their first steps in the world of ski.

The school gives particular lessons for groups from one to five students, with duration of one, six or ten hours. There are always collective lessons, from six to twelve people, in packages of two, three and six days and each one of them lasts two hours.

The snowboard lessons are also particular, for one to four students and the lessons last one, six or ten days. There are also collective snowboard classes for six to twelve persons in packages of two, three and six days, with duration of two hours.

The Ski and Snowboard school counts with 200 squared meters of ground in a special and safe closed circuit for kids, where they can learn ski as they were playing, passing through arches where will give them the special movements need in ski.

This Chiquipark also has 25 cones that the children must dodge before get on the ski equipment.

This kid's park counts with a micro cinema, where children can enjoy watching movies. There are also comfortable sofas for them, to avoid sitting in the cold snow.

Chikipark counts with a nursery with 40 squared meters of rubber floor where babies and kids to two years old can crawl in a smooth surface. There are special snow clothes without cost to keep them warm in the place.

This Ski School also teaches the children basic security and survival measures in the mountain. At the end of their six days of ski lessons they learn to use special devices to localize victims of an avalanche.

The classes for children are from 10:00 to 17:00 hours.

In this Ski School there are also an introduction to competition sports and its given in a high training center.

Ski rental

The ski center counts with a ski rental service, a workshop and a ski keeping located at the Base of the mountain. In this place there are more than 500 full equipments for ski and snowboard.

The skies have Fischer technology, a leader ski trademark, making them most durable and versatile to each skier, so they can enjoy the mountain with maximum comfort and flexibility. There is also the complete equipment Fischer Pro Shop.

In the shop there are also other famous ski labels as Merrell, Alpine Skate, Garmont and the North Face.

The ski rental is for one, three or six days and the prices are different in low season or high season.
