La Hoya Ski Resort: Service Center

La Hoya ski center offers all the need service to the best comfort of its visitors. There is a hostel at the Base of the mountain, besides of many lodging alternatives that they can find in the close city of Esquel, just 13 kilometers away.

To enjoy the local gastronomy and take a break in their snow adventure, the mountain has restaurants and coffee and cake shops to delight with the specialties of the mountain cooking.

La Hoya is also one of the best ski centers in Argentina for its excellent snow quality and privileged weather, for being located in the south hillside without receive the direct sun rays. This special condition develops one of the longest snow seasons, starting on June to middle of October.

There are 10 elevation lifts to get to the 24 ski runs of the mountain, where the visitors can do alpine ski, cross country ski and also expeditions in snow cats to get to the summit of the mountain.

There is a ski rental at the Base of the mountain, where the visitors can obtain full equipment and clothes to ski and snowboard. There are also snow cats for rent.

All the runs in La Hoya are constantly prepared with groomers for the security of the visitors. Also there are patrols to orient people about weather and mountain conditions.

La Hoya also counts with medical service in case of any injure of the visitors and an ambulance service for a quick transfer to hospital in the city of Esquel.

There is also a mini shopping center with all the service the visitors need for their comfort.

La Hoya is also beside Los Alerces National Park, in middle of the most beautiful places of argentinean Patagonia, giving many alternatives and activities to the visitors.

In this mountain and its surroundings the visitors can practice fly fishing and rafting in the summer and enjoy of the best quality snow in the winter, sliding through the hillsides of La Hoya ski center.
