La Hoya Ski Resort: Gastronomy and entertainments

La Hoya ski center is located few kilometers away from the city of Esquel, one of the main tourism centers in argentinean Patagonia which has many entertainments for its visitors like different kind of restaurants, casino, cinema, discos and pubs.

Furthermore being so close of a complete urban center, La Hoya is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape of the Patagonia. One of this places is Los Alerces National Park and the journey of the patagonian train.

In summer time there are excursions through the lakes of the zone, trekking on the hills, rafting and fly fishing.

Inside of the ski center, La Hoya offers winter sports with the best snow quality, counting with ski runs prepared for all the levels. There also are zones of deep snow for extreme sports.

Besides, the hill can also be explored in snow cats' expeditions, watching the high summits of the mountain and the beautiful landscape of the surroundings.

There are also the best places to enjoy the local gastronomy. In La Hoya Ski center there are two coffee and cake shops, with preparations of the zone.

La Piedra Coffee and Cake shop it's located at 1600 meters and offers a local gastronomy prepared for a chef and a team of 50 people. The service is quick and personalized, offering gourmet plates with patagonian style. The distinguished products are trouts, lamb and rabbits of the zone.

This shop also has a room of self service, where the visitors can find regional products. It's also known by its warm and abundant breakfast, with tea, cakes and pastries, ideal for the ones who will stay at the snow practicing sports.

The visitors will delight with exquisite preparations while they enjoy of the wonderful view of the mountain's landscapes.

El Refugio is other coffee and cake shop, located on 1800 meters, with beautiful views of the landscape of mountains and lakes. In this place the visitors can take a break and enjoy of a warm and comfortable place, delighting with the most delicious foods and drinks of the zone.
