Caviahue counts with a high mountain weather, with dry and powder snow, the ideal condition to the winter sports. The winter temperatures have a variation from - 4 degrees to 11 degrees.
That`s Caviahue counts with a long snow season from the middle of June to the begining of October, where there is still snow in the summits.
The annual average of precipitations is of 2,5 meters, bringing a deep snow, supported by the artificial snow system, which keeps the properly amount of snow in the entire mountain.
The low season goes from the first two weeks of June until the ending of this month to September 9th.
The intermediate season starts on the first July week and the first two weeks of August, excepting the days between August 17th and 20th.
The high season starts on July 08th to the first days of August and the days between august 17th to august 20th.
In summer, the rising of the temperatures generates thaw that creates waterfalls and amazing turquoise lakes, making of Caviahue a new place to explore and enjoy with horse riding, windsurf and fly fishing, among many other activities.
