Caviahue: Infraestructure and surroundings

Caviahue ski center has the perfect combination between snow, lakes and hot springs, making of this complex the perfect place for the family, because counts with therapies, relaxing, entertainment and snow sports.

That's why Caviahue offers different services depending on the need of the passengers. It counts with a Ski and Snowboard School to teach students of every ages and levels. There is also a ski rental store to get the complete equipment for the snow sports and also a ski keeping for them.

The center has different ski runs for every level of difficulty, properly signposted and the chance to practice cross country ski sliding through the summit of Caviahue volcano to the Base.

Besides, the ski center counts with full equipped hotels with all the amenities need and coffee and cake shops where the visitors can refresh after a day in the snow, tasting delicious specialties of local cooking and admiring the beautiful landscape of the surroundings.

Caviahue has nine lifts to access to the ski runs, also properly signposted due their difficulty. There is also a snowpark where the snowboarders can practice their tricks and advanced techniques.

There are 13 snow cats to do expeditions in the snow and two snow tracks, besides of five groomers to fix the ski runs in every moment.

Caviahue also counts with a system to generate artificial snow, so the visitors will enjoy deep snow in the entire mountain, in every moment of the season.

This ski center also organizes trips to the surroundings, snow expeditions in snow tracks and snow cats, hiking in snowshoes and excursions to the lakes and frozen waterfalls in the zone. There are even more activities in the summer, where the good weather allows to enjoy even more of the beauty of a wonderful natural landscape.
